ABA League round 5 best performance: Bogoljub Markovic (by Hoops Agents)

Forward Bogoljub Markovic (210-F-2005) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked BC Mega MIS Beograd, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 20-year old player was the main contributor (30 points, seven rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Ilirija (#1, 1-3) with 26-point margin 109-83. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Mega BG is placed at 2nd position in ABA League. Mega BG is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-3 record. In the team's last game Markovic had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Mega BG's top player in his first season with the team. Bogoljub Markovic has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 17.7ppg) and averages impressive 52.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Filip Rebraca (206-F-1997) of league's leader KK FMP SoccerBet Beograd. Rebraca had a very good evening with 19 points and 7 rebounds. FMP BG consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team has currently 2-2 record. Rebraca is a newcomer at FMP BG and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was Montenegrin Danilo Nikolic (206-C/F-1993) of league's top team KK Spartak Office Shoes Subotica. Nikolic scored 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was a key player of Spartak, leading his team to a 85-80 win against #1 ranked Crvena zvezda. Spartak started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Nikolic turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Nikolic has a great season in ABA League. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.0ppg (9th best) and rebounds with 6.5rpg (8th best).
